Fostering Geniuses Hosts Transformative ‘Motherhood & Me Conference 2025’ in Abuja

Abuja came alive on Saturday, November 8, 2025, as Fostering Geniuses hosted the inaugural Motherhood & Me Conference 2025 at The Arete Place, Area 11, Garki. The event, themed “Empowering Mothers, Raising Future Leaders,” brought together over 350 mothers, caregivers, professionals, and thought leaders from across Nigeria to engage, learn, and be inspired in their roles as nurturers and leaders.

In her welcome address, Mrs. Ebere Ojadua, Founder of Fostering Geniuses, highlighted the importance of investing in mothers as a foundation for national growth. “When we empower mothers emotionally, intellectually, and economically, we empower generations,” she said. She emphasized that the conference was designed to equip women with tools, knowledge, and networks to raise confident, resilient, and purpose-driven children.

Chioma Momah Motherhood Conference

The conference featured an array of speakers who shared insights and inspiration with attendees. Dr. Obioma Ekwueme, Consultant Family Physician, spoke about advancing maternal and child health, emphasizing the importance of access and awareness. Barr. Chioma Onyenucheya-Uko, a legal practitioner and women’s rights advocate, encouraged mothers to leverage policy knowledge to create supportive environments for families. Parenting coach Chioma Momah discussed intentional parenting and the need for mothers to lead with purpose and clarity. Early childhood specialist Winner Onyinyechi Ozowara highlighted raising emotionally intelligent children, while policy expert Akinwunmi Akinola emphasized creating systems that empower families and communities.

Adding to the excitement, Mrs. Ojadua launched 10 new books at the event, focusing on motherhood, parenting, child development, and leadership, esources aimed at equipping mothers with practical guidance and inspiration. This launch was met with great enthusiasm from participants, who viewed the books as valuable tools to complement the conference sessions.

The conference also offered free health screenings, interactive workshops, and a dedicated session for mothers raising children with special needs, providing support, connection, and a safe space for open dialogue. The event included an exhibition of women-led businesses, giving mothers the opportunity to network and showcase their products and services. Adding a touch of excitement, UMZA Aviation Services sponsored a flight ticket giveaway to Lagos, Port Harcourt, Yola, Maiduguri, and Kano.

During the event, Mrs. Ojadua unveiled three ongoing initiatives under Fostering Geniuses: The Genius In Me Academy, focused on early cognitive development and leadership skills for children; The Genius Raisers Academy, aimed at equipping parents and educators with modern tools to nurture confident, capable children; and The Genius Spotlight, a platform celebrating young Nigerian talents making impactful contributions in their communities.

Participants described the conference as inspiring and transformative. “I came here feeling uncertain about how to support my child,” said Mrs. Amaka O., a working mother from Abuja. “But I’m leaving with practical tools, renewed confidence, and a sense of community. This event has truly empowered me.”

The conference received strong support from NPHCDA, UMZA Air, Cubecover, 618 Consulting Limited, Nina Jojer Limited, and Orchid Fertility Clinic, among other partners committed to strengthening motherhood and family development.

As the conference concluded, Fostering Geniuses announced that plans are already underway for the 2026 edition, reinforcing its mission to empower mothers, strengthen families, and nurture the leaders of tomorrow.
