MomCircleNG Launches Digital Platform Connecting Nigerian Mothers to Community, Learning, Services and Support

Date:

MomCircleNG, a growing community for Nigerian mothers, has launched a new digital platform designed to help mothers connect, access support, discover useful resources, learn, and build meaningful relationships throughout their motherhood journey.

The launch marks a new chapter for MomCircleNG, taking the community beyond its website, social media platforms and WhatsApp community into a dedicated digital space created specifically for mothers.

Founded by Princess Ukwuoma and Nnenna Okafor, MomCircleNG was created from a shared recognition of the need for stronger support and connection for mothers navigating the different realities of motherhood. The community has grown around a simple belief: mothers should not have to navigate motherhood alone.

The new digital platform brings several aspects of the motherhood experience together in one place. Mothers can discover and connect with other women, send connection requests, chat, join groups and build relationships that can extend beyond the digital space into friendships, meetups and playdates.

The platform also features Mama AI, an AI assistant designed around the motherhood experience. It is intended to help mothers explore questions, get guidance and discover relevant resources, groups and experiences within the MomCircleNG ecosystem.

Beyond community connections, mothers can access a Learning Hub featuring courses, parenting resources, motherhood programmes, educational content, blog posts and video resources. The platform also includes a directory designed to help mothers discover businesses, professionals and services relevant to mothers and families.

MomCircleNG is also developing a curated marketplace featuring products for mothers and families, including maternity wear, baby essentials, mom-care products, children’s items and MomCircleNG merchandise.

Another feature of the platform is Gift & Swap, which gives mothers an opportunity to list items they no longer need so that another mother can request them. From outgrown baby clothes and unused toys to children’s items, the feature reflects MomCircleNG’s broader focus on community support and resource sharing.

The platform also provides space for daily reflection, events and experiences, allowing mothers to pause, connect with themselves, discover activities and participate in experiences designed to bring mothers together both online and offline.

The launch builds on MomCircleNG’s existing community activities, which include mother-focused events, wellness experiences, educational conversations and opportunities for mothers to meet and build relationships in person.

According to MomCircleNG, the goal is not simply to create another app or online community, but to create a digital home where Nigerian mothers can find their people, find support, discover opportunities, learn, share and grow together.

The organisation says the platform will continue to evolve based on the needs and experiences of the mothers using it.

“Motherhood doesn’t come with a manual. But it can come with a community.”

With the launch of the digital platform, MomCircleNG is bringing together community, technology, learning, services and shared experiences to create a more connected support system for Nigerian mothers.
