Triumph Adekunle, through the Tee Adekunle Initiative for Boys, successfully convened the Fathers & Sons Legacy Conference, bringing together fathers, mentors, and boys for a transformative day of conversations focused on intentional fatherhood, mentorship, character development, and legacy.
Held in Abuja, the conference created a unique space where fathers and sons could connect, learn, and engage in meaningful conversations that will continue to shape families long after the event.

Recognising that not every boy has the privilege of growing up with his biological father, the conference also welcomed mentors, guardians, uncles, pastors, coaches, teachers, and other positive male role models, reinforcing the belief that every boy deserves healthy male guidance and intentional investment.
Speaking at the conference, Triumph Adekunle, Convener of the Fathers & Sons Legacy Conference, emphasised the urgency of investing in boys and strengthening the men who influence them.
“We did not gather simply to host another conference. We gathered to create moments that matter. We believe the future is not somewhere we are going; the future is someone we are raising. Every conversation between a father and son, every lesson shared by a mentor, and every seed of character planted today has the potential to shape generations.”
The conference featured impactful keynote sessions from respected speakers and mentors, interactive father-son activities, honest panel discussions, and moments of reflection designed to strengthen relationships and encourage open communication between boys and the significant men in their lives.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of recognition awards to individuals whose consistent commitment to fatherhood, mentorship, and youth development continues to inspire families and communities. The conference also celebrated fathers and mentors who intentionally made time to show up for the boys they are raising, recognising that presence remains one of the greatest gifts a man can give.
Reflecting on the success of the conference, Triumph Adekunle expressed gratitude to the speakers, volunteers, sponsors, mentors, fathers, and boys whose participation made the gathering impactful.
“The conference may have lasted only a few hours, but I believe its impact will be measured for years to come—in stronger families, wiser young men, healthier relationships, and lives transformed one conversation at a time. This is only the beginning. The work continues.”
The Fathers & Sons Legacy Conference is an annual initiative of the Tee Adekunle Initiative for Boys, dedicated to raising boys of character, faith, responsibility, and purpose by strengthening the relationships between boys and the men who influence their lives. Under Triumph Adekunle’s leadership, the initiative continues to champion intentional fatherhood and mentorship as essential foundations for raising the next generation of responsible men.
