WIMBIZ Inducts Amaka Udeh as Associate Member, Strengthening Network of Women Professionals

Date:

Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) has inducted Amaka Udeh as an Associate Member, adding her to its growing network of accomplished women across Nigeria’s business, professional and public-service landscape.

The induction marks a new chapter in Udeh’s professional journey and provides an opportunity for her to contribute to, and benefit from, a community focused on advancing women’s leadership, professional development, entrepreneurship and nation-building.

WIMBIZ is a volunteer-based organisation committed to inspiring, empowering and advocating for women in management, business and public service. Its work centres on creating opportunities for women to build professional networks, develop leadership capabilities and increase their representation in positions of influence.

Through its Associate Membership, WIMBIZ provides members with opportunities for professional networking, skills development, mentorship, participation in local and international programmes, and engagement with other accomplished women across different sectors.

For Udeh, joining the organisation represents more than a professional milestone. It creates an opportunity to engage with a community of women who are contributing to conversations around leadership, business and social development while building meaningful relationships that can translate into collaboration and impact.

Her induction comes at a time when the role of professional networks in supporting women’s advancement is increasingly important. Access to the right networks can provide opportunities for knowledge exchange, mentorship, visibility and collaboration, particularly for women seeking to take on greater leadership responsibilities.

WIMBIZ has built its platform around four key pillars: Inspire, Empower, Advocate and Connect. Through these pillars, the organisation supports women in achieving professional and entrepreneurial goals while advocating for greater gender representation in leadership across business, management and public service.

The organisation currently has an associate pool of more than 3,700 accomplished women and says its programmes and initiatives have impacted hundreds of thousands of women.

As an Associate Member, Udeh will join a network that provides opportunities to participate in WIMBIZ programmes and events, contribute to its initiatives and connect with other women working across diverse professional and business environments.

WIMBIZ also provides Associate Members with opportunities to serve on committees, facilitate and moderate programmes, participate in local and international events, and access professional development and networking opportunities.

The induction reinforces WIMBIZ’s continuing effort to build a strong pipeline of women who are equipped to contribute meaningfully to their organisations, industries and communities.

For Udeh, the next phase will be about making the most of that platform — bringing her experience and perspective into a network built around collaboration, leadership and collective impact.
